I've been sewing, I swear! I've actually got a few projects to blog about soon - or as soon as I photograph them.
My Weekender bag is done and field tested. Its awesome. I probably won't ever ever ever make another one though. I'll get a whole post devoted to it in the next week or so.
I've joined a swap between the Modern Quilt Guilds of VA/DC/MD. We're swapping lined drawstring bags from Jeni's awesome tutorial. I cant wait to get that going!
The one project I *do* have a photo of is this one:
Its just a sneak peak for now, I'll write up a whole post about it sometime. I'm hoping it turns out how I imagine it will!
I've been keeping on keeping on working on my BOM/sampler quilt. I've been putting a lot more paper pieced blocks into it than I originally envisioned, but what can I say! I'm hooked on the precision of paper piecing! Plus, they use up those tiny weird shaped scraps everyone denies having...
I've also been stabbing at some older UFO's here and there, but nothing really exciting happening on that front.
Thats it for quilty sharing today. My family is still trying to get into the summer groove (we took a couple weeks to go back to Minnesota right after school got out, so getting in the swing of things at home has been delayed) So I dont know how much I'll be able to post this summer. We will see how it goes!
