How do you reconcile the things you want to do versus the things you are able to do? I am not talking about time wise, but talent wise. I studied illustration in college, (after realizing that animation wasnt for me) but I was never very good. I still am amazed they passed me in several classes...they probably shouldnt have. I have a passion for drawing/painting, but have a hard time creating what I can visualize.
(this has come up recently because of the awesome Project Selvage contest at spoonflower..)
Am I just rusty from not having done much drawing in the past 3-4 years? Or is it time to move on, and concentrate on quilting, which I love almost as much as drawing. Or should I pursue drawing once again, and see if that is the way to go?
